What is the Keto Diet?

The diet is an eating plan that seeks to prioritize fats and proteins by reducing carbohydrate consumption.

It is well known that eliminating carbohydrates completely from the diet produces a metabolic state called ketosis in which your body is forced to produce ketone bodies, a chemical produced from body fat, meaning that your body will have no more option that to use the fat you have as a source of energy to keep it working.

The Keto diet is recommended after a plastic surgery in Tijuana, however, it is not as easy to carry as you think. people who decide to venture on this diet must completely eliminate all carbohydrates

Cookies, breads, cakes, dairy, oatmeal, a large number of fruits and vegetables, and even legumes, to consume a large amount of protein, fat, beef , chicken, fish and pork, seeds of all kinds such as flaxseed, hemp and chia, peanuts, almonds, cashews and pistachios and other sources of extra fat, such as olive oil, coconut oil, lemon and avocado.

Does Keto diet work?

The director of the nutrition department at Brigham Hospital, Kathy McManus, has said that this diet works, but it is not sustainable for long, so it can generate a rebound effect when the person returns to their normal diet.

In addition, it can raise blood cholesterol, especially by increasing saturated fat and the consumption of  red meat.

The Keto diet also has contraindications, as it is not healthy for people who have gout, high cholesterol or triglycerides, irritable bowel syndrome, a family history that has to do with colon cancer, liver diseases, or any other disease in which it is see protein intake and fat intake involved.

At some point, the Keto diet may become advisable, at least for a few days, as, for example, when someone has a zirconia crowns Tijuana, as this will avoid the temptation to consume hard sweets, which can damage the treatment.

Although the Keto diet can give quick results, it will be necessary to consult your doctor, because as you can see, it has several contraindications. and it may not apply to you. Also remember that it cannot be done for a long time, because the fact that you do not have fruits or vegetables in your diet really is not healthy and can cause more harm than good.

To carry out an effective Keto diet, you must have 60 to 75% fat consumption, 25 to 30% protein, and if you wish between 5 and 10% carbohydrates, although you can eliminate them completely.
